Credit Card Payoff Calculator is built so that your numbers never leave your device.
What we collect
Nothing. The extension does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal or financial data. Specifically:
- The card names, balances, interest rates (APR), minimum payments, and extra payment you enter are processed entirely inside your browser and are never uploaded.
- There is no bank login, no account, and no sign-up. The tool never connects to any bank, card issuer, or financial service.
- The extension does not use analytics, tracking, cookies, advertising, or fingerprinting. This website uses privacy-friendly, cookieless, anonymous page-view analytics (self-hosted Umami) — no personal data, no cookies, no cross-site tracking.
- The tool makes no network requests of any kind. There is no server and no database — all the payoff math runs offline in bundled code.
How your data is processed
All calculations — your debt-free date, total interest, the snowball vs. avalanche comparison, and the month-by-month schedule — run locally in your browser using bundled code. When you close the tab, nothing is retained.
Permissions
The extension requests no host permissions and no access to your browsing data. Clicking the toolbar icon opens the full calculator in a new tab. Nothing else is accessed.
Third parties
None. No data is shared with any third party because no data is collected. The extension bundles no external datasets — the results are pure arithmetic computed from the numbers you type in.

The results are educational estimates to help you compare payoff strategies. They are not financial, tax, or legal advice. Your card issuer's actual terms, fees, and rounding may differ.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published at this same location with a new effective date.
